96th Annual SCAHPERD Conference

Join the South Carolina Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (SCAHPERD) for a fun weekend of professional development in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina!

SCAHPERD is the only association for professionals involved in health, physical, and dance education, in South Carolina. Their members are current, retired, or future professionals who work in schools, higher education, community organizations, government and non-government organizations. The organization consists of four member associations: 1) the South Carolina Association for Physical Education and Sport (SCAPES); 2) the South Carolina Association for the Advancement of Health Education (SCAAHE); 3) the South Carolina Dance Association (SCDA); and 4) the South Carolina Association of Future Professionals (SCAFP). The associations provide the content focus for members and the Alliance provides support for common needs and services such as professional development, advocacy, and communications.

SCAHPERD is aligned with SHAPE America/ SHAPE America Southern District and other state and national partners to further our mission. The mission of SCAHPERD is “to promote health, physical activity and wellness among the state’s citizens through effective leadership, professional development, education and advocacy.”
