Growing Little Minds for Healthy Futures

Join Misty Pearson, Early Care and Education Consultant at the South Carolina Department of Public Health, as she introduces Grow Outdoors SC. This collaborative program between Healthy Palmetto, the South Carolina Department of Social Services, and Public Health is dedicated to increasing children’s access to naturalized outdoor play and learning spaces. Misty will explore the statewide impact of the initiative and share future plans to expand these environments in childcare centers, including those serving children with special needs.
