South Carolina Schools Network

The South Carolina Schools Network is designed to allow individuals working on student health issues to share and learn from each other. It is the goal of the SC Schools Network to provide a forum where school representatives can share, learn, compare, and help improve their efforts. This workgroup meets virtually multiple times throughout the year. Email Jaci Foister Williams for more information about the SC Schools Network.

The SC Schools Network and the SC Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness (Governor’s Council) partner to focus on supporting students’ health-related fitness and school-based physical activity. The mission of the SC Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness is to promote the health and well-being of South Carolinians of all ages by advancing their levels of physical activity. Members of the Governor’s Council are appointed by the Governor, and Wholespire holds an at-large seat. For more information about the Governor’s Council, email Erica Ayers, MPH, MCHES.
