The 28th Annual Diabetes Symposium is a 1-day symposium designed to update healthcare professionals on current management and treatment guidelines for people with diabetes. The program offers 6 hours of continuing education credits. The theme for this year’s symposium is “From Margins to Mainstreem- Community-Engaged Approaches to Diabetes Care”. Topics range from pharmacology, pregnancy, oral health, cardiac disease, and team-based diabetes care, and is specifically designed for Primary Care Physicians, Podiatrists, Endocrinologists, Pharmacists, PharmDs, NPs, APRNs, PAs, RDs, CHW, CDCESs, RNs, LPNs, and Social workers.
